Safety, Consent & Client Comfort
Client safety, dignity and comfort are my highest priorities. I obtain informed consent prior to treatment and explain techniques, positioning and draping procedures clearly. Clients have the right to ask questions, request modifications, pause or end a session at any time. I respect personal boundaries at all times and maintain appropriate professional draping to ensure privacy and comfort.

I recognise that clients are the experts in their own bodies and experiences. My role is to support their wellbeing through skilled, attentive and responsive massage therapy. I encourage open communication regarding pressure, comfort levels and treatment goals, and I respect each client's right to make informed decisions about their care.
Privacy & Confidentiality
I respect and protect client privacy at all times. All personal information, health history and session details are kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of serious harm to the client or others. Client records and notes are stored securely and handled with discretion and care.
Professional Conduct
I conduct myself with integrity, honesty, reliability and professionalism in all aspects of my practice.
I maintain clear, respectful communication and refrain from behaviour that could be considered exploitative, manipulative, sexualised or inappropriate. I present myself and my workspace in a manner that reflects professionalism and client safety.
Scope of Practice
I practice within the recognised scope of professional massage therapy. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or claim to cure illness. Where a client's needs fall outside my scope of practice, I will encourage them to seek appropriate medical or allied health advice and may refer them to other qualified professionals when necessary.
Boundaries
I maintain clear and healthy professional boundaries at all times. I do not engage in behaviours that may impair professional judgement or client wellbeing, I am mindful of time, physical, emotional and professional boundaries and address any concerns promptly and respectfully.
Resolution & Ethical Concerns
I welcome open communication and constructive feedback. If concerns, misunderstandings or ethical issues arise, I commit to addressing them calmly, respectfully and transparently. Where appropriate, I will seek professional advice, supervision or further training to ensure ethical resolution and continued growth.
Ongoing Responsibility & Professional Development
I commit to maintaining high standards of practice through ongoing education, skill development and selfcare. I take responsibility for my actions, acknowledge mistakes when they occur and strive to continually improve for the benefit of my clients and my practice.
